Merry Christmas

President’s Note – December 2011
Well, it is December already (or close to it as I write this). Another year gone by. I thought I would take a look back and see what we have been up to all year.
Ø We changed the name of our club to the Finger Lakes Classic Car Club to include all American made cars. (All appropriate incorporation papers have been updated.)
Ø A new logo was designed by Bill Sablosky, and published on our website, logo apparel, club banner, etc.
Ø Club members participated in many shows, cruises, flea markets etc.
Ø We successfully put on our 6th annual car show - During Collector Car Appreciation Weekend and In honor of Norm Kinney – donating a few hundred dollars to the Genesee Valley Rotary Camp and Caledonia Fire Department.
Ø We have found a new location for next year’s show and have already begun getting sponsors and doing advertising for the show.
Ø Many tech days and nights were held working on cars for several members (I know Lee seems to be taking most of them, but others were worked on as well. We are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel on the 56. We appreciate everyone’s help!)
Quite a lot for one short year. I have enjoyed serving as your president this year.
Have a great holiday season and enjoy your families and friends.
Claudia Manchester
