There is a line that Al Pachino has in one of the Godfather movies, “I try to get out and they pull me back in.” I hope everyone has had a pleasant Christmas and New Years.
As I said at the Christmas party be ready with places to meet and things to do in the coming year. Speaking for me and everyone else in the club I would like to thank Claudia Manchester for her service as our first women president this past year.
I would like some thoughts on how to grow our club now that we’ve made changes in logo; name and car show venue I believe this should generate more interest in our organization. All ideas are welcome and maybe we can vote on some ideas and put them into action. The biggest thing is sponsorship of the show; I would like to finalize the backside of the flyer with an updated list of sponsors by the second week in April as the Spring Fling at MCC is on the 22nd of that month. I am going to have a sponsor packet ready for the January meeting this should help explain things to people who are willing to be sponsors.
Meeting is at Ezzy’s restraint on 885 Buffalo Road, 14th of January, 6:00 to eat 7:00 to meet.

President’s Report: Claudia gave a fine Welcome, Merry Christmas, and Farewell Address. Many thanks for her year of excellent service to the Club.
Treasurer’s report: Not discussed, except for an inquiry as to when the Club Lift was arriving.

Car Show : We will have the dash plaques in January. Can be used to entice sponsors?
Old Business: Elections – were held for the Board of Directors. Winners were
Joe Baran, Sam Andolino, and Lee Bracy.
New Business: Next meeting will be at Ezzy’s Restaurant on Buffalo Rd. on January 14th. Dinner at 6:00.
Our 3rd annual Holiday collection was taken, and the proceeds donated to Frank
and Marcia Palermo to help in their reconstruction efforts.
Bill also motioned that the Club donate $200 to the Legends Charity efforts. This was seconded by Lee, and approved by the members.
Suggestions needed at the January meeting for ideas for Club meetings for next year.
